    On the right side is an eagle - the state coat of arms of the Republic of Poland, under its right talon is the mint mark. On the left side – scales, below them is a stylized image of a book with a wax seal. Above the scales, the year of minting '2006'. In the upper and right parts of the coin, along the rim, the name of the state 'Republic of Poland' in Polish 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' and the inscription 10 zlotych – '10 ZŁ'.

    In the central part is a stylized image of an engraving: King Alexander Jagiellon sitting on a throne, and Chancellor Jan Łaski holding a seal. Above the throne, a semicircular inscription: '500-LECIE WYDANIA STATUTU ŁASKIEGO' (500th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Jan Łaski's Statute). Along the rim are images of 24 coats of arms: of states, domains, and lands constituting the Kingdom of Poland.
