Reverse

In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of a city panorama; at the top left is the coat of arms of the city of Belgorod; around the circumference is the text: at the top – 'ANCIENT CITIES OF RUSSIA', at the bottom – 'BELGOROD'.

Obverse

At the top along the rim are the words BANK OF RUSSIA; at the bottom is the year of issue '2006'; on the left side is an olive branch, and on the right an oak branch. Both branches slightly overlap the central insert. In the central part, the denomination is indicated – the number '10', and below it the currency unit – 'RUBLES'. Inside the digit '0', depending on the viewing angle, one can see the inscriptions '10' and 'RUB'. Above the year of issue is the mint mark 'MMD' (Moscow Mint).
