Reverse In the central part of the reverse are relief images of churches, on the left – the coat of arms of the city of Ryazhsk, in the foreground – a viaduct, around the circumference – text: at the top – 'ANCIENT CITIES OF RUSSIA', at the bottom – 'RYAZHSK'.
Obverse At the top along the rim of the coin are the words BANK OF RUSSIA, at the bottom the minting year '2004', on the left side is an olive branch, and on the right an oak branch. Both branches slightly overlap the central insert. In the central part, the denomination is indicated – the number '10', and below it the currency unit – 'RUBLES'. Inside the digit '0', depending on the viewing angle, you can see the inscriptions '10' and 'RUB'. Above the minting year is the mint mark 'MMD' (Moscow Mint).
