  • Reverse
    The center of the reverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with raised, spread wings. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is above and between them. In its right talon is a scepter, and in its left an orb. In its beaks, the eagle holds ribbons with the coats of arms of the cities of Riga and Reval (Tallinn). Below the eagle is the denomination "96" (kopeks). To the left and right of the denomination are six-petaled rosettes. Around the circumference near the rim is the text: "MONETA•LIVOESTHONICA•" and the year "1757".

    The center of the obverse is occupied by the right-facing profile of Empress Elizabeth I (Petrovna). Below the portrait: no letters, the letters "SPB", or the letters "MMD". Around the portrait is the text: ELISABETHA•I•D•G•IMP TOT ROSS• At the end of the legend is a floral rosette.
