Reverse
The center is occupied by the coats of arms of Riga and Reval (Tallinn). A ribbon holds the arms from above, its knot forming a bow. Below is the numeral '4' (kopeks). Six-petalled rosettes are placed to the left and right of the denomination. The inscription around the edge reads: LIVOESTHONICA • 1757
Obverse
The center of the obverse features the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire – a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is above and between the heads. In the eagle's right talon is a scepter, in the left – an orb. Below the eagle is a dot and two floral rosettes. The inscription around the eagle reads: •MONETA•
