Along the arc of the lower edge, separated by five-pointed stars, is the inscription: «100 c» - 100 centimes. The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of dots.
Obverse
To the left and right along the edge is text in French: «J.P.BOYER PRESIDENT», which translates to «President J.P. Boyer». In the central part is his left-facing profile. On the neck truncation is the monogram of the portrait's author; below the neck truncation is the engraver's monogram: «FD». At the bottom of the rim, separated by five-pointed stars, is the inscription: «AN 27», which corresponds to the year 1830 in the Gregorian calendar. The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of dots.
