    In the central part, a column stands on a strip of ground, topped by an imperial crown, beneath which is an ornate shield with the monogram of Empress Catherine II. Military trophies flank the column. Below is the year of minting: '1771'.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, a double-headed eagle is depicted, its heads crowned by two smaller crowns, with a third, larger crown above them. In the eagle's right talon is a scepter, in its left a sword. Under the right talon is an oval shield with the coat of arms of Moldavia (a bull's head with horns), under the left is an oval shield with the coat of arms of Wallachia (a bird standing on the ground with a cross in its beak). Below the eagle and behind the shields is a strip of ground, beneath which is the text: 5 KOPѢEKKЪ. Below the inscription: the mint mark 'S', denoting the private mint in Sadagura (Moldova).
