Reverse
The central part features the denomination — the numeral 1. The denomination is enclosed within an ornamental circle. Outside the circle is an inscription: at the top in a semicircle — 'ROSSIISKAYA MONETA' (RUSSIAN COIN), at the bottom in a semicircle — 'ODNA KOPIEIKA 1916 G.' (ONE KOPEK 1916). The inscriptions are separated from each other by two floral rosettes (the image may differ from the description).
Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle. Both eagle heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is positioned above and between them. All are connected by the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. On the eagle's breast is the Moscow coat of arms — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious with a spear, slaying a dragon. Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. The coats of arms on the wings (four on each wing): Kazan, Polish, Taurian, Astrakhan, Siberian, Georgian, Kiev and Novgorod, Vladimir. In the eagle's right talon is a scepter, and in the left an orb. The State Emblem is enclosed within a linear circle. Outside the circle, the circular inscription '1 KOPIEIKA' is repeated five times (the image may differ from the description).
