Reverse

In the central part of the reverse is a relief portrait facing right of the Slovak moralist writer, poet, and scientist Juraj Fándly, with stylized rays in the background. Above the rays, the poet's name in two lines 'JURAJ FÁNDLY' in Slovak, the letter 'R' is executed as an ornament. To the left are the years of the scientist's life '1750-1811'.

Obverse

In the central part of an ornament of plants and two bees is the coat of arms of the Slovak Republic: a heraldic shield with a patriarchal cross on a three-peaked mountain. Above the ornament, an open book with a dove emitting rays. Along the rays, the country name 'SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA' in Slovak, above it - a pattern. To the left the inscription two hundred kron '200Sk', to the right – the year of minting '2000', below the letters 'MG' - the initials of the engraver Michal Gavula and the mintmark of the Kremnica Mint.
