The shape of the badge — round, oval, rhombic, figured — together with its dimensions is the first thing to check when identifying a badge from a photograph. Height and width are given in the specifications in millimetres. 5 collections, 124 records in total. The largest: Figured — 60, Oval — 36, Round — 15, Rhombus — 7, Flag — 6. Every entry carries photographs, metal, finish, fastening, dimensions and prices for each grade of preservation. Groups with fewer than five records are not listed separately.
