Every entry carries photographs, metal, finish, fastening, dimensions and prices for each grade of preservation. The fastening — screw with nut, pin, suspension — dates a badge as well as its legend: screw-back badges are typical of pre-war and post-war issues, the pin came later. An original nut and undamaged thread raise the price noticeably.
