(1912 Königsberg / East Prussia - 1988 Wulfsdorf near Lübeck) In the evening, Expressionistically painted landscape impression along a river, with a vibrant color palette. Initially, the painter began with an apprenticeship and then studied at the Academy in Königsberg. He gained fame through his frescoes painted in the Gothic style in the Schleswig Cathedral (1937/38) and in the Leipzig Marienkirche (1948-1951), as well as through forgeries of significant modern artists and watercolors in the style of Emil Nolde.
