(1763 Hannover - 1840 ibid) after "Grossen-Buchholz near Hannover after the Wind Bride of September 17, 1830". Original title lithograph/paper, executed by Julius Giere (1807 - 1880). The sheet thematizes the devastating whirlwind of September 17, 1830 in Gross-Buchholz, which destroyed numerous houses, uncovered roofs and gables, and uprooted trees. 43.3 cm x 53.4 cm (matting cutout). Framed. Provenance: North German old hotelier family. Lithograph by Julius Giere (1807 - 1880) after Johann Heinrich Ramberg (1763 - 1840).
