Description

Round, lightly curved form. Colorless glass, partially satin-finished, cut and polished. The outer wall or underside with stylized decor in the style of René Lalique featuring floating goldfish and air bubbles, the background painted with black enamel. Possibly by Maurius Ernest Sabino. Signed "SABINO FRANCE". Height 24.7 cm. A French Art Deco bowl with goldfish decor by Sabino. Marked "SABINO FRANCE". France, Noisy-le-Sec near Paris. Sabino, probably around 1930.
