Frieze New York Names Exhibitors for 2026 Edition

The organizers ofFriezeNew York have revealed the sixty-six galleries that will be participating in the event’s fourteenth iteration, slated to take place May 3–17 at the Shed, which has hosted it since 2021. The exhibitors represent twenty-six countries and include stalwarts such as Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, Pace Gallery, Perrotin, Thaddaeus Ropac, White Cube and David Zwirner. Among the other international exhibitors are Toronto and Tehran’s Dastan; the Rio de Janeiro– and São Paulo–based A Gentil Carioca; and Mexico City’s OMR. New York galleries will be present as well, among them 303 Gallery, Miguel Abreu Gallery, Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, Canada, Chapter NY, James Cohan, Alexander Gray Associates and Ortuzar.

“The fair is a snapshot of the most compelling artistic practices today in an international city that embraces rigor, complexity and ambition,” said Christine Messineo, director of Americas, Frieze, in a statement. “Our close relationships with New York’s institutions—particularly around time-based media and performance—extend our impact beyond the fair architecture, from Chelsea and into the wider city.”

The fair this year will feature what Kristell Chadé, executive director of fairs, described as a “notably strong” presence of Central and South American galleries. Its Focus section, reserved for solo presentations by galleries in operation for twelve years or fewer, is again being organized by Lumi Tan. Of the section’s eleven participating galleries, seven—Campeche, Europa, Isla Flotante, Sargent’s Daughters, Soft Opening, Ulrik and W-galería—are making their Frieze New York debuts.
