In good condition, traces of folds, creases, tears. On the reverse side, owner’s pencil marks. Sergey Mitrofanovich Gorodetsky (1884–1967) was a Russian poet, playwright, publicist, and artist. In the 1920s, Gorodetsky participated in the creation of antireligious posters, writing poetic texts for them: “For peasants, faith is a narcotic; for priests, it’s profit in the pocket,” “From Little Bandit to Little Saint,” “About Renovated Icons and How Rest Homes Renovate Restless Priests,” and others.
