Victor Vladimirovich Zavatsky (1932, Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast - 2008, Samara, Russia) was a painter, author of genre paintings and landscapes on industrial subjects, and a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He lived and worked in the city of Kuibyshev. He graduated from the Penza Art School named after Savitsky, specializing in painting and pedagogy (1952). He participated in regional ("Bolshaya Volga" 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1985, 2003, 2008), republican (Moscow 1966, 1970, 1975, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1983, Volgograd 1975, 1980), All-Union and All-Russian (Moscow 1979, Vologda 2006) art exhibitions from 1955. The artist's works are kept in the Chuvash State Art Museum, Kamchatka Regional Art Museum, AvtoVAZ Museum, Togliatti Art Museum, Samara Art Museum, as well as in many private collections around the world.
