

(1885 Yastrow – 1958 Berlin) "Autumn Berries". Original title. This is an expressionist work by the artist Haase-Yastrow, executed with soft, impasto brushstrokes. Haase-Yastrow studied in Berlin from 1903, and from 1906 at the Dresden Academy under Eugen Bracht and Oskar Zwintscher. From 1913, Haase-Yastrow participated in major art exhibitions in Berlin.
In 1920, he received the Grand Prix of the state. In the 1920s, Haase-Yastrow developed an expressionist painting style. From 1937 to 1944, he was a member of the studio community at Klosterstrasse in Berlin. Oil on cardboard. Signed. Title and date – 1924 on the reverse. Dimensions: 58.5 cm x 49 cm. Framed.
