Aloe arrived in Basel in 1962 and is considered one of the most important Swiss artists of our time. In 1967, he became a member of the Basel group "Farnsburg," which protested and exhibited their works in response to being rejected from the annual exhibitions at the Kunsthalle. However, just three years later, he managed to exhibit at the Kunsthalle again, after which numerous solo and group exhibitions followed. Mixed media/wood panel.
