Description
(Born in 1951 in Heidelberg. Works in Neustadt an der Weinstraße.) Composition with Head is an early, abstract work by Nagel from 1981. Nagel studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg from 1968 to 1971, had a studio in Munich from 1972 to 1981, and from 1981 to 1983 he was at the Künstlerhaus Hamburg. After stays in Chicago, Jamaica, Polling, and Munich, he returned to the Rhine-Neckar Region in 1997. Mixed materials (probably gouache or dispersion paint) on paper mounted on canvas. Signed and dated (19)81. 88 cm x 68 cm. Framed.
