Mountains in painting are inextricably linked for me with the work of N.K. Roerich. I was fortunate enough to visit the museum in Moscow, as well as the Novosibirsk Art Gallery, where his works are exhibited. Becoming acquainted with the artistic legacy of Nikolai Konstantinovich made an indelible impression on me.
Back then, in the halls with his paintings, the mountains seemed very bright, with unrealistic colors. And I thought these were the fruits of his rich imagination. Later, on the blog of a modern traveler, I saw photos of the Himalayas... And it became clear that he was simply depicting the world as it is, pouring his observations onto the canvas...
These reflections inspired me to experiment with color and contrast, allowed me to boldly fantasize, and to bring my fantasies to life in the painting before you)))
After I finished it, I had colorful dreams for a long time))) That’s where the title comes from.
By the way, images of mountains usually evoke a sense of protection and unshakable calm, which means that if you hang this painting at your workplace behind your back, you will always feel confident. It will support its owner and provide a foundation in their endeavors.
Also, the painting is a wonderful gift for a manager, colleagues at work, and/or simply lovers of mountain landscapes)
