The Other department gathers collectables outside the specialised sections: bronzes and sculpture, mantel and wrist watches, lighting, antiquarian books and postcards, carpets and textiles, Christmas ornaments and games, coins and banknotes, base metal wares and household objects of many periods.

The department suits collectors who buy by subject rather than by material: objects from one period and one household appear side by side, from a table lamp and a clock to a toy or an inscribed book. Lots state date, material and technique, dimensions and weight, provenance, completeness and condition — whether a clock movement runs or needs service, whether parts are missing, restored or replaced.

Subsection circles split the department into sculpture, clocks, books, carpets, toys, numismatics and other categories; the search box works with object names and sorting by price helps find both an inexpensive gift and a serious piece for a collection.

Bidding often starts at modest sums, which makes this the easiest department to begin with. Each lot shows its starting price, current bid and closing time.
