China. Wool on cotton. In the cream central field, there is a densely arranged pattern of repeating rosette motifs. Surrounding this is a wide, multi-part border consisting of meander and swastika patterns in two shades of blue. The dimensions are 281 cm x 177 cm. This is a small Chinese carpet.
