

Silver, partially gilded. On a flat surface outlined with narrow profiled lines and a rounded profile rises a tall, slightly swaying, bell-shaped beaker. The bottom is finished with double profiled lines and a protruding edge. The lower half of the wall is decorated with a relief-carved tongue featuring finely engraved, alternating leaf decor and is crowned with stylized diamond-shaped leaves. Gilded inside. Markings: engraving, trembling stroke, indicator, unclear maker’s mark, probably Matthäus II Bauer (master around 1681), as well as a tax mark for Paris (1687-1691). Weight approximately 45 g.
