Description

Decorative intaglio made of rock crystal with an engraved image of the Borovitskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin. USSR, 1930s–1940s.
Material – druse of rock crystal.
Technical execution – faceting, grinding, polishing, carving.
The intaglio belonged to the famous Leningrad composer and philocartist Nikolai Spiridonovich Tagrin (December 6, 1907, Petersburg — May 19, 1981, Leningrad), as evidenced by the engraving dated 1971.
Dimensions:
Height – 9.5 cm.
Length of the lower edge – 9 cm.
Length of the transverse edge – 13.5 cm.
Depth – 3.5 cm.
The item has an elegant faceting.
In excellent collectible condition.
The item possesses artistic and collectible value. A wonderful gift for lovers of Soviet vintage items!
