Porcelain
Found: 2 278The Porcelain department offers antique and collectable porcelain and ceramics: vases and cachepots, dinner and tea services, single serving pieces, figurines and decorative groups. The catalogue covers Russian and European manufactories — the Imperial Porcelain Factory and LFZ, Gardner, Popov, the Kuznetsov partnership, Dulevo and Verbilki, together with Meissen, Sèvres, Limoges, Rosenthal, Wedgwood, Royal Copenhagen and Herend. Soviet propaganda porcelain of the 1920s and figurative sculpture of the 1930s–1960s form a collecting field of their own.
Every lot is photographed from several angles: the shape and painting, the factory mark on the base, the state of the gilding, chips and traces of restoration. Descriptions give the manufactory and period, the designer and painter where known, height and diameter, the completeness of a service and its condition. Marks date porcelain most precisely, so a photograph of the mark accompanies most items and can be checked against a reference before bidding.
Subsection circles — vases, tableware, decorative objects and figurines — narrow the field, and the manufacturer filter gathers everything offered by one factory into a single feed. The feed can be sorted by price or by newest arrivals, and the search box looks through lot titles.
Each lot shows its starting price, the current bid and the closing time. You can buy a single plate or figurine to complete a collection or acquire an entire service; pieces by known manufactories with intact marks and no restoration hold their value well. New lots appear continuously, so the department is worth bookmarking.
