TWO SOVIET PORCELAIN FIGURINES OF AN ACCORDIONIST AND A DANCER, LENINGRAD STATE PORCELAIN FACTORY "LOMONOSOV", depicting a young man with an accordion and a young woman, both dressed for winter, both designed by Boris Kustodiev (1878-1927). The accordionist figurine bears the impressed initials IK of the factory modeler Ivan Kuznetsov; the dancer figurine has a black jubilee mark for the 20th anniversary of the October Revolution and a partially smudged inscription with the date 1941. Sold together with a caricature figurine of the actor Vasily Kachalov, created by Kukryniksy, Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, 1937, height of the dancer 9 inches (22.9 cm).
