Leningrad State Porcelain Factory named after Lomonosov, model attributed to Boris Vorobyov, created by Ivan Kuznetsov in the late 1930s / early 1940s. The author of this impressive figure is considered to be Boris Vorobyov (1911–1990). He was a student of Alexander Matveev and Vasily Vatagin. Vorobyov worked at the State Porcelain Factory from 1936 to 1942. His sculptural work was featured in a retrospective exhibition at the Marble Palace in St. Petersburg from November 2015 to January 2016.
