Three porcelain plates: one with an original artist’s design, two based on designs by K. Malevich. (i) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 6, Drawing by Francisco Infante, from the series of drawings "Extraction-Absorption" "A Point in Its Own Space", 1964. The plate was made in 1992, one of a series of 25 pieces produced under the supervision of the artist. The current design is the first in a series of limited edition plates by F. Infante, released by the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow and the "Kuznetsov Kuznetsov Porcelain" factory in Dulevo, with the artist’s overglaze signature and stamps of the production centers. (ii) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 16, Drawing No. 4 by Francisco Infante, after a design by K. Malevich "Suprematist Art", 1920. The plate was made in 1992, one of a series of 25 pieces produced under the supervision of the artist as part of a series of four limited edition plates by F. Infante based on the suprematist designs of K. Malevich, released by the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow and the "Kuznetsov Porcelain" factory in Dulevo, with the artist’s overglaze signature and stamps of the production centers. (iii) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 11, Drawing No. 3 by Francisco Infante, after the suprematist design by K. Malevich "18th Construction", 1915.
