

A very large, noble Polar bear, made of white glazed porcelain at the renowned Polish porcelain manufactory Józefów in the 1920s-1930s of the last century. The sculpture is executed in the Art Deco style.

On the bottom of the piece is the hallmark: Józefów Poland.
An identical sculpture is held in the collection of the Silesian Museum in Katowice.
The Józefów porcelain manufactory was founded in the Polish city of Czeladź in 1924 and ceased production in 2008.
