Description

Near a rectangular rocaille base with a golden finial, sitting on a tree trunk entwined with ivy vines, a boy is depicted holding a puppy in his arms, looking to the right, towards the protesting mother dog. Polychrome painting. Possibly by Adolf Rem, circa 1897/98. Model number Q 183. Restored. Sword mark. Height 20 cm.
