A glazed ceramic vase in the German Art Nouveau style, made of bronze. Most likely, it is stoneware with a light blue glaze on a dark green background. The vase has a wide ovoid shape with diagonal rims and a wide opening. It is mounted on a square base. In each corner, there are four stylized elongated supports, which end in two curved handles or a peacock eye pattern with matching cabochons made of opalescent glass. There is a faint press mark under the glaze. An inscription engraved on the mounting plate reads: "Donated by individual cyclists of Düsseldorf for the best floral decoration by an individual cyclist. XXI Bundestag D.R.B. 1904." The height of the vase is 22.7 cm. In 1904, the Federal Festival of the German Cyclists’ Association was held in Düsseldorf. Similar vases were produced, in particular, by the firms Scharvogel, Hank, and Merkelbach.
