BIG!!! (Height - 33 cm.) Antique collectible porcelain figurine "Lady with a Fan", Germany, Volkstedt factory, attribution by mark 1915-1934. Porcelain, polychrome painting, gilding, 100% handmade. A true find for a genuine collector or connoisseur of porcelain! Of collectible interest!!
The Volkstedt porcelain manufactory is the oldest factory in Thuringia, founded on September 8, 1760, in Rudolstadt by Georg Heinrich Macheleid. He worked for a long time at a glass factory but always wanted to get involved in porcelain production. The factory's products were considered among the best at that time. Throughout its long history, the manufactory changed owners several times, closed, and reopened. Today, it is part of the VEB Vereinigte Zierporzellanwerke Lichte concern. Throughout its entire existence, up to the present day, the porcelain produced at this factory is especially revered in European countries and among porcelain collector circles; porcelain figurines made entirely by hand are still considered particularly exquisite, each piece absolutely unique, crafted with great skill and unparalleled taste. The factory's products are in extraordinary demand; these elegant sculptures leave no one indifferent!!
The porcelain sculpture "Lady with a Fan" fully meets the highest standards of quality and style; the figurine is exceptionally elegant, with every detail thoroughly crafted. The overall condition is ideal, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. The sculpture is quite large - figurine height - 33 cm, base diameter - 11 cm.
This charming porcelain figurine, depicting a boy and a girl in costumes of the past swinging on an improvised swing, will be a wonderful interior decoration, a magnificent gift, or a worthy piece for a collection!!
