Cosmonaut hand painting

Gzhel is one of Russia's traditional centers of ceramic production and a renowned national folk art craft. Products are made in the Moscow region, across a vast area comprising 27 villages known as the "Gzhel Bush." Professional craftsmen uphold painting traditions and create true masterpieces. It is characterized by elegant blue-toned painting on a white background. Traditional motifs include images of birds, flowers, and patterns.

The figurine is made of high-quality porcelain. The product is adorned with a delicate painting that combines simple lines and ornaments with beautiful floral patterns. The painted product is dipped in white glaze and fired in a kiln at a temperature of about 1400 °C. After firing, the glaze becomes transparent, the product acquires a glossy sheen and hardness, and the design reveals itself in all its beauty, playing with shades of color from gentle blue to deep blue.
