Antique figurine by Carl Scheidig

This is a beautiful figurine, created between 1909 and 1929 by Karl Scheidig from East Germany. This figurine has a heart shape on the front of the base. A boy and a girl are leaning towards each other for a kiss. The boy has a top hat and a bow, he is also wearing a bow tie and three buttons. The girl has short brown hair, a blue jumper, black shoes, and white socks. This piece is in excellent, previously loved condition. It has part of a price sticker on it reading Rennie Garin Jewelers. At its highest point it is 6.5", the widest point is 5", and the depth is approximately 2.25". The base is 4" wide x 2.25" deep. This is a beautiful piece of porcelain craftsmanship and a wonderful opportunity for a collector or as a gift. The mark on the underside is a capital S under a three-dot crown in blue.
