  • Description: Dmitry Ivanovich Orlov, owner of a gold and silverware factory founded in 1840; awarded a large silver medal at the 1865 Manufacture Exhibition in Moscow; in 1860 had 35 workers and 10 apprentices, in 1860 workers and apprentices numbered 160, annually produced goods worth up to 200 thousand silver rubles.
