Description
Alexander Edvard Tillander (born 1837 in Helsingfors, died 1918) came to St. Petersburg in 1848 where he studied. In 1855 he became an apprentice, working for K. K. Beck and K. R. Schubert; from 1860 he was a master jeweler. In partnership with other jewelers, he founded a firm, had many apprentices, and from 1870 was the owner of the firm. The maker's mark bears the surname in English "A TILLANDER". Shape: Diamond
