  • Description: Buch Iwar Wenfeld (born 1749, died 1811), son of the Danish goldsmith Didrich Buch who moved to Norway in the early 18th century. He studied with his brothers in his father's workshop, in 1776 became a master gold- and silversmith in the foreign guild of St. Petersburg, had 6 apprentices, worked for the imperial court.
