  • Description: Fabergé Peter-Carl, owner from 1870 of the famous firm 'Fabergé', founded in 1842 by his father Gustav Fabergé. The hallmark bears the master's surname 'K.FABERGÉ'. Initially, the firm produced exclusively jewelry; from 1887, it began making large silver items, table and tea services, utensils, etc. Fabergé pieces are distinguished by high technique in enameling, engraving, and chasing. A branch of the firm was opened in Moscow in 1887. K. Fabergé held the title of Purveyor to the Court. The firm 'Fabergé' had branches: in Odessa (approx. 25 masters) from 1905-1911, and in London from 1903-1915.
