    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are haloed, with a crown above them. On its chest is a crowned heraldic shield framed by a chain. In the eagle's right talon is a sword, in its left a scepter. Below the shield is the empire's highest order. On the shield, arranged in two rows, are eight coats of arms, with a central shield depicting the arms of Lorraine and Tuscany. Below the eagle's talons are Latin letters: 'H' on the left, 'A' on the right. Along the rim on the sides is a Latin inscription: 'IN TE DOMINE SPERAVI∙1755∙' (In you, Lord, I have hoped 1755). At the end of the legend is a mark in the shape of the Latin letter 'X'. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.

    Centered is the right-facing profile of Francis I Stephen, Holy Roman Emperor and Duke of Lorraine, wearing a laurel wreath. Along the arc of the coin's edge is a Latin text: on the left and right 'FRANC∙D:G∙R∙I∙S∙A∙GE∙IER∙R∙LO∙B∙M∙H∙D∙' (Francis, by the Grace of God, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, King of Germany, Jerusalem, Grand Duke of Lodomeria, Bohemia, Tuscany). The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
