Reverse Shifted left-upwards, the central element of the coin is the denomination: 2 RUBLES. In the left and lower-right parts of the coin are scrolls of a flowering plant.

Under the eagle's left foot is the mint mark 'SPMD'. At the bottom near the edge of the coin is the year of mintage '1999', above the year are two pointed, oppositely directed lines with a dot.
