    In the central part is a stylized depiction of a trident against half of a cogwheel above a grain ear. On either side of the ear, the inscription '10 rupees' in Nepali (रू १०) and English (Rs 10). At the top, along the edge of the coin, the text - «सबैको लागि रवाय», below in English - «FOOD FOR ALL 1968 NEPAL».

    In the central part of the coin is struck the left-facing profile of King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah of Nepal. To the left, top, and right, the name and title of the ruler in Nepali script «श्री ५ महाराजाधिराज महेन्द्र वीर विक्रम शाहदेव», below the year of minting according to the Nepali calendar – «नेपाल – २०२५».
