  • Reverse
    The central part features the denomination — the numeral 2. Above the numeral — an imperial crown. Below the denomination numeral — a two-line inscription: KOPEYKI. Below the inscription — a straight line, under it — the mint mark K.M. In the left part of the coin along the edge is a laurel branch, and in the right part an oak branch. At the base, the branches are tied with a ribbon forming a neat bow. Raised dots are stamped around the entire edge of the coin.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third larger crown is above and between the heads. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield — the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left — an orb. Below the eagle — the year of minting "1812.". The rim is decorated with dots.
