  • Reverse
The upper part of the reverse features the crown of the Russian Empire. Below it, the denomination and monetary unit are indicated on two lines: 1 KOPEYKA. Below that runs a horizontal line and the abbreviation 'S.P.B.' (Saint Petersburg Mint). On the left side of the reverse near the edge is a laurel branch, and on the right is an oak branch. At the base, the branches are tied together with a ribbon. Raised dots are stamped along the edge of the coin.
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire – a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed above and between them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow – a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Under the right talon is the letter 'M', under the left – the letter 'K'. These are the initials of mintmaster Mikhail Kleiner. Below is the year of minting '1811.'. The rim is decorated with dots.
