Reverse
The central part features the denomination — the numeral 2. Above the numeral is the Imperial crown. Below the denomination numeral is a two-line inscription: KOPEYKI. Further below is a horizontal line and the abbreviation S.P.B. (Saint Petersburg Mint). Near the left edge of the reverse is a laurel branch, and near the right edge is an oak branch. The bases of the branches are tied together with a ribbon. The edge of the coin is decorated with raised denticles.
Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed above and between them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Surrounding the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left — an orb. Under the right talon is the letter 'M', under the left talon is the letter 'K'. These are the initials of mintmaster Mikhail Kleiner. Below the initials is the year of mintage '1810.'. The rim is decorated with denticles.
