    At the top along the edge of the coin are the words BANK OF RUSSIA, at the bottom the mint year '2001', on the left a laurel branch, on the right an oak branch, both branches partially overlap the central insert. In the middle is the coin's denomination '10 RUBLES', inside the digit '0' are inscriptions '10' and 'RUBLES' visible alternately when the coin is tilted.
