Inside the monogram, the first two digits of the minting year "17" are indicated on the left, and "23" on the right. Along the entire circumference of the coin's edge, an inscription is struck, separated by four imperial crowns: МОНЕТА ♚ НОВАѦ ♚ ЦЕНА ♚ РꙊБЛЬ ♚. Around the edge of the coin — a twisted border.

The rim appears as a braided rope.
