In the lower part of the disc – a relief image of the facade of the building in St. Petersburg which housed the State Bank in the second half of the 19th – early 20th century; above it on the right – an allegorical image of a clock mechanism, part of whose gears are represented as coins; on the left on a mirrored section of the field – six semicircular lines of microtext; along the rim – inscriptions, at the bottom: 'BANK OF RUSSIA', on the right: 'FOUNDED IN 1860'.
Obverse
In the central part – the emblem of the Bank of Russia (a double-headed eagle with lowered wings, below it the semicircular inscription 'BANK OF RUSSIA'), framed by a circle of dots and circular inscriptions – at the top: 'ONE THOUSAND RUBLES', at the bottom: on the left – designations of the precious metal and alloy fineness, in the center – the year of issue '2015', on the right – the weight of chemically pure metal, as well as the manufacturer's mark (mint).
