The denomination (with stars on the left and right) and monetary unit are indicated on two lines: ⋆ 1/4 ⋆ KOPEYKI Below, a decorative divider in the form of two curved lines with a small circle between them is placed. Under the lines is the coin's year of minting '1895' and below it the mint mark 'S.P.B.'.
Obverse
In the central part is the monogram of Nicholas II. Above it is the Crown of the Russian Empire with two flowing ends of the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. Below the monogram, along the rim, are two crossed branches: a laurel branch on the left and an oak branch on the right.
