    In the central part is the lesser coat of arms of the Austrian Empire: a double-headed eagle with spread wings, its heads crowned, above them the Crown of Saint Stephen; in the eagle's right talon are a sword and scepter, in the left an orb; on its chest is a cross, upon which is the family heraldic shield of Habsburg-Lorraine, encircled by a chain. Below, the number 20 is within a frame. The frame is flanked on the right by a palm branch and on the left by a laurel branch. Along the edge of the coin, an inscription in Latin arcs on the right and left: 'HVN:BOH:GAL:REX∙A:A:LO:WI:ET IN FR:D:1811∙' (King of Hungary, Bohemia, Galicia, Archduke of Austria, Lodomeria, Würzburg, Duke of Franconia 1811). The edge is decorated with decorative dentils.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, Francis II, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. On either side of the portrait are semicircular laurel branches; below the truncation is the Latin letter 'A' - the mint mark of Vienna. Along the rim, the inscription 'Francis I, by the Grace of God, Emperor of Austria' in Latin is split into two parts: on the right 'FRANCISCVS I:D:G:', on the left 'AVST:IMPERATOR∙'. The rim features decorative raised dentils.
